Carrie Kuo is a multidisciplinary graphic designer from Southern California, currently based in New York City. She is pursuing a BFA in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design. Her practice explores the intersection of analog processes and digital tools, resulting in thoughtfully crafted design.

When she’s off her laptop, she enjoys crocheting, visiting art galleries, and sipping a cup of hot coffee.

A project based on a collection of pictures of potted plants taken around Manhattan. It explores the overlooked presence of potted plants scattered throughout the city, revealing their subtle yet transformative impact on the urban landscape. By documenting these small but intentional bursts of greenery, the project highlights how plants soften, civilize, and brighten public spaces, bringing warmth, character, and a sense of tranquility to the city's fast-paced environment.
